Nottingham Professional Services Welcomes New Committee Members

Nottingham Professional Services (NPS) is an independent networking group in Nottingham, run by local professionals for the purpose of furthering inter-sector relationships in Nottingham. NPS is pleased to welcome new committee members in 2024:

  • Naomi McFadden – Associate at Nelsons Solicitors
  • Sadia Hussain – Associate at Shoosmiths
  • Olivia Hilliard – Business Development Executive at PKF Smith Cooper and
  • Katie Cash – Corporate Finance Manager at Cooper Parry.

Naomi and Sadia both join after serving together on the Nottinghamshire Junior Lawyers Division (NJLD) committee. Naomi says “It is a pleasure to join the NPS committee having attended their events over the years and been impressed by the variety of Nottingham professionals attending events, and the variety of the events themselves. Having served on the NJLD committee for many years I hope to bring new ideas for events and increase our social media presence to reach all audiences.” Sadia says “I am excited to see what I and the rest of the NPS committee can do this year. The ideas have been flowing already and I can assure you 2024 will be the year that we see some favourite comebacks plus some new and exciting events. Having served as Chair of the NJLD last year, a committee I have been on for the last two years, I am hoping to transfer everything I have learned to NPS to bring a fresh perspective, new ideas and new initiatives that will benefit the all professionals in Nottingham.”

Olivia added “I am thrilled to start working closely with this inspirational and talented committee. My experience in Business Development and passion for networking, means I thrive in connecting like-minded individuals and teams to deliver fantastic results. I’m very excited to bring NPS to new audiences and provide excellent relationship-building opportunities.”

Katie says “I’m really excited to join NPS and be a part of the team who are making waves in the professional services sector, organising great events to pull the community together. My experience working and leading the NCASS committee previously and desire to want to build events that help those at the start of their careers, hopefully will work in its favour in providing new insights and ideas to NPS when organising future events.”

January also sees the NPS committee bid a kind farewell to long-serving committee members and thank them for their contribution to NPS over the years. NPS thanks Marcus-Adam Tuck, Tom Gray, Hayley Sewell, Ksenia Kavtaskin and Kate Hennig. Kate remarked on her time with the NPS committee “I have really enjoyed my time on the NPS committee, both as chair and a member of the wider committee and I wish Ken and all of the team every success as they continue to play an active role in bringing the Nottingham business community together. If you are a professional working in Nottingham and you have not been to an event before there has never been a better time to get involved, they have a very exciting programme of events scheduled for 2024!”

Chairperson, Ken Feast, says “NPS owes a huge debt of gratitude to all our committee members past and present. It is great to see new members join the committee as they look to deepen their professional networks and expand the reach of the organisation. As chair, I would like to place on record a heartfelt thank you Marcus, Hayley, Tom, Ksenia and Kate for their hard work, long service and commitment. I also want to officially welcome Olivia, Naomi, Sadia and Katie to the committee as we look forward to a busy 2024.”
